Irving H. Shames Endowment Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 2011 by Lisa R. Shames and Bruce Shames in honor of their father, SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor Irving H. Shames. Must demonstrate excellence in the study of statics which was taught by the late Professor Shames. Recipient must be nominated by faculty teaching EAS 207.

Financial need is considered for eligibility of this opportunity. Applicants should file an annual FAFSA. Students ineligible to file a FAFSA may demonstrate financial need on the General Application by selecting “Yes” to the Financial Hardship question and providing a brief summary of their circumstances (if “No,” leave blank).
