James P. Owens Fund

Established in 1997 by Lucy McCartan Owens in memory of her husband, James P. Owens, BS ‘48 and MS’49. Awarded to an outstanding geology undergraduate or promising student admitted to the graduate program. Preference to those interested in fields related to surface and near-surface geology.
