The 2024-2025 General Application is now available – complete it today! This application is your gateway to a variety of campus philanthropic scholarships

Use your UBIT credentials to log in and complete the General Application annually, after July 15th. You can also browse available scholarships on the portal’s homepage anytime. Eligibility requirements are listed in each scholarship description. For more scholarship opportunities, be sure to check out: Financial Aid – Scholarships. For graduate students looking for assistantships, contact your department.

Current UB Students: Log in with your UBIT credentials. Once you’ve finished the General Application, you may see prompts for a Conditional Application or supplemental questions for specific scholarships. These are required if you are would like to be considered for those opportunities. Keep an eye on the red action prompts on your dashboard for next steps, and check your application status often. Award notifications are sent to your buffalo.edu email. If you receive an award offer, please finalize the payment within two weeks to secure your funding.

Incoming Summer/Fall 2025 Students: The General Application for recruitment scholarships opens on March 1st. Please note: Merit scholarships are handled by the Offices of Admissions and International Admissions, not through this portal. Contact their respective office directly for merit scholarship inquiries.

A Note on Essays: We encourage you to share your personal story in your own authentic voice. Please write your essays yourself and avoid using AI writing tools.

Scholarship funding is contingent upon enrollment, academic standing and satisfactory progress toward your degree. International students are eligible for most scholarships (exceptions will be noted).
