Frank B. Silvestro Fund

Established in 2000 by Frank B. Silvestro, BA ’62 and MA ’68. to assist UB students pursuing degrees in physics. The Department has chosen to devote the funds generated annually by this endowment to benefit our graduate students who show academic promise.

Financial need is considered for eligibility of this opportunity. Applicants should file an annual FAFSA. Students ineligible to file a FAFSA may demonstrate financial need on the General Application by selecting “Yes” to the Financial Hardship question and providing a brief summary of their circumstances (if “No,” leave blank).
