Martin C. Raikes Memorial Fund (Award)

Established in 2022 by Michelle S. Raikes in memory of Martin C. Raikes. Must be a law student majoring in the School of Law and to benefit UB law students who demonstrate financial need. Preference shall be given to students of Jamaican heritage. It is their wish that the deserving recipients continue a life of service, honoring Martin’s legacy.

Financial need is considered for eligibility of this opportunity. Applicants should file an annual FAFSA. Students ineligible to file a FAFSA may demonstrate financial need on the General Application by selecting “Yes” to the Financial Hardship question and providing a brief summary of their circumstances (if “No,” leave blank).
