William E. Townsend Scholarship Fund
In 1992, William E. Townsend, BA ’50, created these scholarships for undergraduate students in the natural sciences. Preference to chemistry majors, Western New Yorkers, and those with outstanding personal character.
Financial need is considered for eligibility of this opportunity. Applicants should file an annual FAFSA. Students ineligible to file a FAFSA may demonstrate financial need on the General Application by selecting “Yes” to the Financial Hardship question and providing a brief summary of their circumstances (if “No,” leave blank).
This scholarship is available for renewal if scholars remain in good academic standing.- Award
