Felix Smist Scholarship Fund
Established in 2005 by James Smist, BS ‘80 and Mary Smist, to honor Jim’s late father, Felix Smist, BS ’65. Must be a full-time undergraduate degree in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences while supporting dependent children and/or spouse. Must have tuition and fees which are not already covered by financial aid or employer assistance. This scholarship may be renewable but is contingent on good academic standing, continuing eligibility, and availability of funds.
Financial need is considered for eligibility of this opportunity. Applicants should file an annual FAFSA. Students ineligible to file a FAFSA may demonstrate financial need on the General Application by selecting “Yes” to the Financial Hardship question and providing a brief summary of their circumstances (if “No,” leave blank).
