Frederick C. Ebert Scholarship

To provide an annual scholarship to a student at the University at Buffalo Law School who has demonstrated strong commitment to public service and is interested in the pursuit of a career serving the public interest after completing law school. The student must be in good academic standing. In addition, the student should have substantial work experience prior to law school, and should be pursuing a law degree to either advance an existing career or to make a career change.

Financial need is considered for eligibility of this opportunity. Applicants should file an annual FAFSA. Students ineligible to file a FAFSA may demonstrate financial need on the General Application by selecting “Yes” to the Financial Hardship question and providing a brief summary of their circumstances (if “No,” leave blank).
