Katherine Johnson Chair in Artificial Intelligence

Established by Dandapani Sivakumar, PhD ’96, in honor of the late NASA pioneer Katherine Johnson in 2021. This fund will support in-depth research focused on increasing equity in artificial intelligence, develop innovative curriculum including experiential learning opportunities and serve as a role model for those interested in a career in computer science.
