Must be a current student in the Daniel Acker Scholars Program. Must complete the FAFSA, having financial need and achieve high academic merit.

The funds can be requested for, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Academic conference (provide examples)
  • Alternative break trip (provide examples)
  • Graduate school preparation (provide examples)
  • Research opportunity (provide examples)
  • Study Abroad
  • Unpaid UB tuition (to qualify, must have BIL Hold on student account)
  • Other academic related request
