Division of University Communications Student Scholarship

The Division of University Communications Student Scholarship supports the academic study of one University at Buffalo undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a career in communications, marketing, graphic design, trademarks and licensing, photography, journalism, social media, project management or digital media. The scholarship, presented annually by the staff of the University at Buffalo Division of University Communications, provides recipients with up to $2,000 for use toward educational expenses, such as tuition, books and other required fees.

Must be a full-time student pursuing a major, minor or certificate in one of the following:
o Communication
o English
o Media Study
o Fine Arts
o Journalism Certificate
o Certificate of Professional Writing and Digital Communication
o Business
o Theatre

Must demonstrate knowledge, experience and career interest in communications, graphic design, photography, journalism or media. Leadership in student clubs and organizations will be considered. First preference to students with financial need; domestic students complete the FAFSA and international students submit a financial need statement in the general application.
