Established by James A. Russell, PhD ’72. Must be an incoming freshmen who has graduated from Williamsville South High School in Williamsville, NY. Must demonstrate financial need. Domestic students must complete the FAFSA; international students must submit a financial need statement via the general application. Must have maintained a high school average of 3.6 GPA or better. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years at UB, if a 3.00 GPA and full time enrollment is maintained each year.
