UB Alumni Association Forever Blue Alumni Scholarship

The UBAA Forever Blue Alumni Scholarship was established in 2019 by the UB Alumni Association Board of Directors to recognize deserving and passionate UB alumni who have chosen to continue their education for a second degree at the University at Buffalo. Awarded annually in the spring semester to qualifying UB graduates who demonstrate strong leadership skills and involvement in extracurricular and/or community activities with evidence of UB involvement during and after completion of first UB degree.

Applicants must submit a short essay on leadership, as well as one letter of recommendation from a member of the UB faculty or staff. An optional supplemental letter of recommendation from other sources may be considered if it offers compelling and first-hand observation of leadership activities. Preference given to students who completed their previous degree with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. Finalists may be interviewed. UB degree must be fully conferred to be eligible to apply and applicant must be currently enrolled in a UB program. Application opens in August with a deadline of November 1 for submission of all application components. Award recipients will be selected and announced in January.
