J. Scott Fleming Merit Award

Established in 1985, this cash award for student leaders was established through student fundraising initiatives led by the University Student Alumni Board, which is now called the Future Alumni Network. Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student whose leadership in extracurricular and volunteer activities has promoted student involvement and enhanced the student experience at UB. Paid positions and internships will not be considered. Finalists may be interviewed. Application opens in August with a deadline of November 1 for submission of all application components. Award recipients will be selected and announced in January.
