Om & Saraswati Bahethi Scholarship in Physics

The Om and Saraswati Bahethi Scholarship fund was established in 2018 through a generous endowment from Dr. Om Bahethi (Ph. D. 1973) and Mrs. Saraswati Bahethi to reward outstanding performance by our students, in both undergraduate and graduate programs. The primary criterion for the fellowship is the overall excellence of a graduate career. For Undergraduate and MS students, the main measure is performance in courses, and participation in research is also considered. For PhD students, research progress is the main measure of performance. For an undergraduate student to be eligible for the award, you need to be in one of the Physics Bachelor of Science programs, and are on track to graduate in the spring of 2025.
