As a sophomore, you can apply for the Western New York Sophomore Externship Experience @ UB.

1. Earn $4,000 minus the cost of one credit of tuition and fees.
2. 25 hours/week from June 3rd – July 31st
3. Opportunities throughout WNY.
4. Open to all majors.
5. Earn course credit and a micro-credential.

As an extern, you get paid to gain experience, build your network, develop your leadership skills, and see how you can make a difference in our community. Students who are curious and creative are strongly encouraged to apply. The externs selected will earn $4,000 over the course of the program period, minus the cost of one credit of tuition and fees.

Through the Western New York Sophomore Externship Experience (SEE) program, you spend 20 hours a week onsite at a company, then five hours a week with other UB and WNY college students exploring Buffalo and the region.

The WNY Sophomore Externship Experience @ UB is supported through an annual gift from the Prentice Family Foundation. It is operated by the Startup and Innovation Collaboratory powered by Blackstone LaunchPad with support from numerous campus partners.
