Summer Math Scholarship
Established in 2016 by the Summer Math Foundation. Recipient must register for MTH 499 Independent Study during Spring 2024, and then pursue a research project over the summer under the guidance of a Math Department faculty member. Most SMS recipients write a senior honors thesis about their project afterwards, but this is not required. Preference to sophomores and juniors with a 3.2 GPA or higher.
