LGBTQ Faculty and Staff Association Fund

The Pride Scholarship was established in 2021 by the LGBTQ Faculty and Staff Association. Must be a currently enrolled, full-time junior or senior undergraduate student or a graduate student who can demonstrate academic success, a commitment to LGBTQ advocacy or education and show leadership potential either within the LGBTQ community or within their field of study.. Must complete the FAFSA, have financial need and a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

The scholarship is awarded every spring semester and the recipient is included in the annual Lavender Reception, a commencement and recognition ceremony that celebrates the achievements of graduating students who identify with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community at UB.
