Tilmon F. Brown, BA ’93, BS ’93 and Jonnie R. Brown

Tilmon Brown is the CEO and owner of New Horizons Baking Company, a commercial baker and supplier to the QSR and Food Service segments of the restaurant industry. Supplying over two million English muffins and soft sandwich rolls daily to customers in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia and recently to Missouri, The Carolinas and Georgia. He dropped out of UB’s pharmacy school and went to work as a route salesman with Continental Baking Company in Buffalo to support his growing family and over the next thirty years rose to corporate vice president and director of sales before taking over New Horizons with two partners. He served on the Fourth District Federal Reserve Bank Board of Cleveland from 2009 through 2014.

His wife of fifty years, Jonnie Brown , passed suddenly in 2014.
