Dr. Stephen E. Still, BS ’76
Stephen Still, BS ‘76, is now a Professor of Practice at UB in the Institute for Sustainable Transportation and Logistics, after a longer career in the transportation planning field. Previously, he was involved in the founding and management of two firms associated with aviation planning and data analytics. He also worked at US Airways, United and some management consulting firms.
Dr. Still earned a doctorate and master’s in science degrees from Princeton University.
To recognize his commitment to the university, he was awarded the SEAS Dean’s Award in ’14. In ’17, Stephen created an endowment to support the Institute for Sustainable Transportation and Logistics (ISTL), a center that unites the UB engineering and management schools to address the growing new fields of transportation planning, logistics and supply-chain management. To recognize his generosity, UB renamed the institute in his honor.
In addition to teaching as part of the ISTL, he’s a member of the Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering Department Advisory Board and the SEAS Dean’s Advisory Council. Stephen received UB’s Alumni Association Samuel P. Capen Award in ’18.
