Ralph Theurer, BA ’46, EdM ’50 and Arlene Theurer

The Ralph Theurer Endowments for the College of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate School of Education were established in 1994 by Arlene Theurer in memory of her husband, Ralph Theurer, BA ’46, EdM ’50, to provide scholarships and/or fellowships to students studying chemistry and/or science education. During his 31-year career, Theurer taught science, was an assistant principal, and a supervisor of vocational education.
