Professor Bonnie S. Ott
Bonnie Ott, then an associate professor of architecture, established this award in 2000 as the Fenton Scholarship Fund to provide study-abroad support for all UB students, especially undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the School of Architecture and Planning. Ott served 18 years as the coordinator of the school’s study-abroad program in Barcelona, Spain, traveling there with students on a regular basis.
In 2013, after she retired, Ott dropped her anonymity and renamed the fund in order to inspire others to give and support their passions through UB.
