S.J. Cassata and Mary B. Cassata Communication Department Scholarship
This fund is held by the Community Foundation of Greater Buffalo with final decisions made by their board of directors. University at Buffalo faculty make recommendations for disbursements annually based on application review in this portal. Must be a current sophomore or junior accepted into the communications department with preference to joint or double majors, although outstanding candidates in communications only, will not be excluded. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The donor agreement specifies that the scholarship recipient/s must have been born in and be a citizen of the United States with domicile in New York State. Must complete the FAFSA, complete the financial need essay on the General Application, and have financial need.
